Financial modelling and cost optimisation

Phil O'Callaghan

Volte supported a national vocational education organisation to assess the financial viability and cost structure of its work‑based learning divisions as part of sector reform. The engagement involved developing base case financial models, analysing cost drivers, and identifying opportunities to improve financial sustainability ahead of transition to new delivery arrangements. Volte undertook scenario modelling and downside sensitivity analysis to quantify risks and savings opportunities, and developed initial recommendations to support cost reduction and long‑term sustainability, enabling leadership to progress financial improvement planning and inform future structural decisions.
