Volte was engaged by a levy-funded nation-wide emergency service provider to review the allocation of costs within the levy calculation. The review involved cost-to-function analysis and attributing costs to public service commitments - making sure costs are transparent, fair, and clarify accountabilities.

Volte worked with the Board and Chief Executive of an emergency response and health service provider to develop its long-term strategy (underpinned by robust patient and service analysis) in response to significant health sector challenges.

Volte was asked to work across siloed consultancy providers to a large public sector agency and resolve fragmented advice so that organisational design activity could be joined-up as an end-to-end operating model for the agency. In addition, Volte was asked to lead aspects of change programme implementation to make sure organisational changes reflected integrated design intent.

Volte worked with the Chief Executive of a NZ based private health service provider to calculate and benchmark the productivity of health services and operations for each region and location it operates within. Reporting to the Board, Volte helped the Chief Executive to identify operating efficiencies to significantly improve profitability.

Volte was asked by NZ’s largest education provider to develop a strategy for rebuilding and growing its international learner revenue. Working with market experts across business divisions, the strategy (underpinned by robust market analysis) set out a roadmap for optimising the grow-back of international learners across regions to maximise revenue based on industry and specific country trends and demographics.

Volte was design and change partner to a recently appointed Chief Executive of a mid-sized public sector agency facing significant budget pressure as a consequence of unsustainable investment in unfunded capabilities. Changes implemented repositioned the agency for financial sustainability without compromising the effectiveness of its core functions.

Volte was asked to review the function of workforce planning and management for a mid-size crown entity and regulator. The review provided a roadmap of practical improvement initiatives best fitting the client. Volte was subsequently asked to provide workforce planning and reporting expertise to accelerate development of internal capability.
