Data and analytics operating model design
Darryl Pollard
Volte supported a large New Zealand public sector organisation to design a data analytics and insights operating model to improve coordination, capability, and decision‑making across the organisation. The engagement involved assessing fragmented analytics functions, data governance gaps, and integration challenges across systems, and developing a future‑state model to enable more joined‑up delivery. Volte evaluated operating model options, including centralised and hub‑and‑spoke approaches, and developed a structured framework covering governance, data management, analytics delivery, and reporting. This enabled clearer accountabilities, improved access to consistent insights, and a more efficient and scalable analytics function.
